Tutti I miei autunni

Roberta De Piccoli

Tutti i miei autunni si presentano
Sparsi

in catenelle di brina quasi
in gocce e profumi e arsi

Tutti i miei autunni si presentano
Uno a uno

Sui campi arati, morbidi e spigolosi
Sui tappeti schiumosi di acini pigiati

Sulle foglie croccanti liberate
da temperature a loro ignote.

Tutti i miei autunni, dicevo,
ti si presenteranno, spogli:

non una coperta, così come la carta
e le caldarroste senza

Portami nei tuoi occhi
di autunni lucenti, non una parola

sfiorerà i baci, stringendoci
sparsi, d’inverno arsi.

All my autumns

Roberta De Piccoli

All my autumns present themselves
Strewn

in strings of frost almost
in drops and scents and burned

All my autumns present themselves
One by one

On ploughed fields, soft and spiky
On lathery carpets of trampled grapes

On crispy leaves freed
from temperatures to them unknown.

All my autumns, I say,
shall present themselves to you, bare:

not a wrap, just like of paper
the roasted chestnuts shorn

Carry me in your eyes
of luminous autumns , not a word

shall graze the kisses, the embraces
strewn, by winter burned.
