Uno disse a un suo conoscente: “Tu hai tutti li occhi trasmutati in istrano colore”.

Quello li rispose intervenirli spesso.

“Ma tu non ci hai posto cura? E quando t’addivien questo?”

Rispose l’altro: “Ogni volta ch’e mia occhi veggono il tuo viso strano, per violenza ricevuta da sì gran dispiacere, subito e’ s’impallidiscano e mutano in istran colore”.

A man said to an acquaintance: “Your eyes have become such a strange colour.”

The other man replied that, in fact, it happened quite regularly.

“And aren’t you worried? How long has this been happening to you?”

The man answered quite promptly: “Every time I set my eyes on your strange face, the effect of my immense displeasure suddenly makes my eyes go pale, and they change colour.”
