 Appena c’è nell’aria

odor di primavera

ecco le margherite

nevicare nei prati

mettendo il loro fiorellino

anche all’occhiello

del ciuffo d’erba più meschino.

linger in the air

here come daisies

snowing in the fields

their tiny blossoms popping

in buttonholes even

of tufts of grass most wanting.
