Il gelso nero

Emilio Paolo Taormina

L’arciere del dissenso

*

invisibile

come monete

d’oro

su occhi di statua

avverto dentro

il tuo rumore

*

stelle

per mille e mille

notti

avete accompagnato

i passi

della mia solitudine

questa sera vi vedo

rugose

come le mie mani

*

lenti i giorni

l’uno sull’altro

come giornali

che non

si leggono più

Black mulberry

Emilio Paolo Taormina

The archer of my dissent

 *

invisible

like golden

coins

on eyes of statues

inside I feel

your clamour

*

stars

for thousands and thousands of

nights

you have accompanied

the strides

of my loneliness

tonight I see you

furrowed

like the back of my hands

*

slowly the days

one upon the other

like newspapers

that are

no longer read
