Vorrei portare il tuo zaino

darti anche il mio tempo

pur di vederti sorridere

subito, ancora ed oltre.

Ma è il lasciarti libero

anche di soffrire da solo

che crea il legame

più forte, tenace e utile.

Ogni frutto matura

con la sua terra

il suo sole ed il suo tempo.

Ed il mio tempo adesso

è quello dell’aspettarti.

But it is freeing you

to also suffer alone

that will make our bond

Every fruit matures

in its own soil

its own sun, its own time.
